I have always had a burden on my heart for children without families, never understanding why until my son and I went on a Mission trip to Honduras 2010. Meeting the children on this trip opened my eyes to God&'s calling for me to adopt! I truly feel that God has led me to this incredible, trying, emotional and spiritual journey. In July of 2013 I was matched with an 8 year old boy and cannot wait to have him join our family forever!!! I have done a lot of fundraising in the last year to get me to this point in my journey. I have applied for grants and will continue to find new ways to raise the remaining funds needed to complete the journey without loans or depleting my savings.
