Hi Precious Friends! We just got a call from our agency today that a birth family has chosen us to parent a precious little boy who was just born yesterday! Yes, we are hopping on a plane tomorrow night and flying to Nevada to meet our little boy. As you know, this has been both a bumpy, and at the same time amazing, adoption journey since 2010, full of incredible blessings and also loss along the way. The outpouring of love and support we received with Joel's adoption in 2014 was overwhelming. After Joel's adoption, we started saving again of course, but not yet the amount needed for this adoption. We are trying to apply for grants to help offset the costs, so we hope we can get at least one of those. Of course living internationally increases the costs with international flights, but it is well worth it to bring our son home :-) Thanks so much for standing with us through Joel's adoption and through this one, too. Whether through prayers or financial support or both we super appreciate your love and care for us :-) Hopefully we will update soon with pictures of our new little one!!! :-)
