We are adopting a baby boy!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. My husband and I have been thinking about adoption for a few years now. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of 25,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. We have saved some money up but we have to also have money for hotel stays and visits to the birth mother.
The amount that the adoption agency cost is around 18,000. The home study is from 1500-2000. Lawyer fees range from 5000-6500. There are a couple other fees associated with the adoption. We are working with Lifelong adoptions. Anything is a blessing And would be greatly appreciated.
