Jennifer and Randall D.
are adopting 2 children from United States of America
As we’ve recently shared with our friends and family, we have some BIG news!
Last year we made the decision to become parents again through adoption. The following statistics were taken from Partnersforourchildren.org … “[Statistically,] if we include all children under 5, we’re looking at almost half of all adoptions (49%). On the other hand, teenagers (13 - 17) account for less than 10% of all adoptions. While there are fewer teenagers waiting to be adopted, as a whole, they are less likely to be adopted than younger children.”
Knowing this, we focused our adoption search on children between the ages of 13-17 and in March of this year, we welcomed into our home a sibling pair, ages 13 and 14 (now 14 and 15), out of foster care. Eight months later, we are READY TO MAKE IT OFFICIAL!!!
Please help us in meeting our fundraising goal of $5000 to cover adoption attorney fees to facilitate legal adoption of our new son and daughter. Thank you in advance for your help and consideration!
