As many of you know, we recently finalized the adoption of our son Dylan. We are extremely grateful for everyone's support during this difficult and lengthy process!
During the process of adopting Dylan, we learned of a very sweet little girl who was being represented by the same agency in Seoul and was also in need of a forever family. We were able to meet with her and her foster family in November and determined that she was meant to be part of our family!
She has cerebral palsy, a non-degenerative brain disorder that causes difficulty with motor functions and development. While this is not insignificant, it is definitely something that we can handle! However, paying for two adoptions in less than 12 months is no small undertaking; that being said, we are setting a fundraising goal of $15,000 to help offset the more than $60,000 we'll have spent on the two adoptions.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around all of our children as they grow up.
