🌹 Incredibly and unexpectedly, we adopted a newborn! 🌹

Before I go on, most importantly we are asking for prayers for this beautiful, courageous woman who made an adoption plan for her babies with us. Pray for peace and strength for her.

Right after Easter, our agency contacted us on behalf of our daughter’s birthmother, who was almost 8 months pregnant. She wanted to place this baby with us to keep the siblings together. Of course, we said YES!

He was born June 11, 2022. We spent most of the time in the hospital with him and the beautiful mother of 2 of our children. It was an immense treasure to have that time with her!

All the kids got to meet him on June 13. They were so excited and have been great big brothers and sister so far. He will never lack attention!

Since this adoption was very unexpected, we were not prepared for such a large expenditure. Adoptions in Indiana cost around $25K - $30K (legal fees, homestudy, agency fees, medical bills, etc).

The money donated will help us to pay for this adoption. We would appreciate any help you could give, whether it’s financial or sharing the fundraiser with others.
