Dear friends and family,
I am SO happy to share this news with you- with all of my amazing friends and family! God has opened a door to something that has been on my heart for many years. After being in thoughtful prayer and consideration for over 6 months, I am excited to announce that I am pursing an international adoption of a little girl from Poland. The path to this journey is not one that I take lights- it is one that I truly believe God had His handprint on- starting with an unexpected phone call during this time I have been praying that God would place the right child in my path in His timing. I fell in love in with this beautiful county and the people in it, and have felt God leading me back to these children since the day I left, and God has laid one child on my heart specifically.
Please pray for God to continue to open every door, as He has already. I have known this calling of adoption for many years. Through my experiences of working with children in foster care, and as a special education teacher and counselor, I have seen the amazing path God has brought me on to culminate the beginnings of this next journey.
Those of you who know me well, know that I have had a heart connection with orphans and believe that every child deserves a family where they will be cherished and loved.
James 1:27 says, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows”. These words of the Bible call God’s people to actively pursue meeting the needs of children who have been orphaned.
I hope that you all will follow me on this amazing journey to get this little girl home. I love you all, friends and family. It would be an honor if you would all please partner with me in prayer, and pray that God continues to open the doors that are meant to be open.
First and foremost, I value your prayer- as believers, we know that when two or more are gathered in His name, He is with us. If you feel led to give a monetary gift, 100% of your gifts will be contributed toward the adoption process. This is something that I will be sharing more details in the weeks and months to come. It is important to note that I am not using a general fundraising website, but one that is is also a non-profit that my adoption agency supports for charitable/in kind giving, as it is a 501(c)3 and all gifts are tax deductible.
