The Lord has been writing our adoption story for years. He put adoption on both of our hearts since before we were married, and we always knew adoption would be apart of our family but we didn't know when. After some complications after our daughter's birth, and an unsuccessful year of trying for a second pregnancy, we found out we would not be able to conceive again without significant medical help. We felt like this was the Lord confirming our desire to adopt and directing us to begin pursuing the process. Excitedly, we researched our options and found an agency we love that specializes in domestic infant open adoptions. We are currently in the home study process and have completed a 7 week training course. We expect to have our home study completed early 2017. Our story is still being written and we are excited to see what God has for our family UPDATE: our home study is completed and our profile is live with our agency. We are just waiting on a match!
