is adopting a child from China

We are thrilled to be going back to China to adopt another precious child. While we were in China to adopt Elliana, our family was gripped by so many of the sweet children who were stuck in orphanages without families. Before we left China, we knew we wanted to come back some day to give another one of these kiddos a family. Within a few days of being home from China, we quietly started the process again. We were told that it would probably be around 32 months before we were matched. But just 14 months later on September 22nd, we received a wonderful surprise call from our agency telling us about a precious 20 month old girl! We are hoping to bring Malea home in March 2018.

Some of you have asked if we are fundraising again. We have decided to do another puzzle fundraiser, so that Malea will have a puzzle just like her big sister.

Here is how it works:
- We have purchased a map of the globe puzzle.
- For each donation of any size, we will write your name on the back of a section of the puzzle.
- Once completed, this puzzle will be put into a double-sided glass frame.

While adoption has many fees and expenses, we have chosen to use all of the donated money to go toward our orphanage donation. This money is given directly to Malea's orphanage in Henan, China. It will be used for ongoing care for the children there, including much needed medical care, as well as to help prepare files for more children who are waiting for their forever families.

Thank you all so much for your love, prayers, donations, and encouragement as we move closer to seeing our sweet Malea soon!
