We currently have a $5,000 MATCHING GRANT!!! We are headed back to China!! Ellie is 3 1/2 now and we have been in love with her for a long time. She is a special needs adoption due to being born without eyes. This means the process is a little faster and we don't wait for a referral. She is already set aside for our family! We've started a fundraiser on Adopt Together to raise the funding that we need to make our adoption a success. The donations will be sent to our adoption agency. Every donation is important and will help make this adoption a success. Would you kindly consider making a donation? Also, we would appreciate your willingness to share this with others who may want to participate. Thank you so much for being a part of our lives and helping accomplish something that's important to all of us! Aaaannndd…..it's time for an update. A big SURPRISE update. In July we learned of a little girl who may be a twin to our Ellie. Say what!?! Yes, the twist we never saw coming happened. After much prayer and seeking wisdom we are moving forward and adopting both of the girls. It is a massive leap of faith in so many ways. We have names the twin, Everlyse, and she was also born without any eyes. Our lives our going to change in so many ways. Are we ready? No. But I am confident that God will give us the grace for each and every step just as we need. it. We are blessed to be surrounded by many super visual therapists and doctors and we are looking forward to bringing our daughters home!
