Hi! We are the Johnson family, Taylor, Julia, and Hali, with Little Sister on the way! In June, we received a message from a social worker at Lifeline Children’s Services, advocating for a little girl in Colombia. Before this message, we had been praying about growing our family. We longed to adopt but couldn’t see past the current complications of life to understand how it was feasible to go through the adoption process. We enthusiastically said “Yes” to pursuing the adoption of this precious one in Colombia but remained only hesitantly hopeful that it would all work out. Long story short, we have jumped through many hoops with the help of our family, friends, and Lifeline and are at the point of home study approval. The adoption process is now in full-swing and we are hopeful that “Little Sister” will be coming home within the next year. As a family, we believe that all people are created uniquely in the image of God. We believe that all children deserve the love, care, and stability of a family. This is why we choose adoption.
As you know, Adoption can be quite expensive. Many of you have graciously supported us through our recent TSHIRT fundraiser and many others have requested ways to give directly to our process. That is why we have created this crowdfunding source that you can give directly to and receive a tax credit!
Our Adoption Agency estimates that costs will be $43,000 or more. Our goal for this fundraiser is to raise $12,500 that will help complete our Agency Fees.
