are adopting a child from United States of America

We are beyond thrilled to announce we are beginning our adoption journey for our 3 year old nephew, Saint whom we have had since he was 3 1/2 months old.

Saint had a rough and traumatic upbringing, between the drug exposure during the mothers pregnancy, and going thru withdrawals after birth, to the abuse, neglect and domestic violence in his bio- parents care. Saint was just 3 1/2 months old when his mother abandoned him and left, and the father was unable to care for him. We were in a position where we decided upon ourselves to take him in, not knowing what the future would be or even how to be parents, and not having anything for him but the clothes he had on. We knew he needed love and stability. Immediately, it became natural to us, the connection and bond was so pure and real. We love him like as if he was our biological son, and he knows us as his parents. He is a sweet, happy, energetic loving little boy. He has had some difficulties with the drug exposure but overall a very healthy and smart 3 year old. He loves being outside, playing with trucks, and basketball. We also have a 6 month old daughter, whom he calls his baby sister. There bond is inseparable and they love each-other so much.

We ended up fighting for guardianship which allowed us to be legal guardians for him, that costed nearly $20,000. We bought our first home last year, and shorty after began our adoption process. We knew that we wanted a permanent plan and a stable life for him. Although our adoption is for a relative, the funds are all still the same just like any other adoption. We completed the home-study, and are now waiting for the court. This case is very complicated between ICWA laws as the child is Native American and the biological mother is deceased. And the biological father is homeless and on drugs. We still have to go thru the whole process with terminating his rights. The tribe has given consent though, but there are many ICWA laws and regulations we have to follow which makes it much harder. Due to the complexity of our case, we are already in about $15,000 just in the adoption, about $3,000 just in the last month. We really didn’t want to ask for help, but unfortunately with the costs being so high we really need some assistance and prayers please.

We are ready for forever with him and are so excited for this chapter to be complete, and our family together forever. We love him unconditionally. Please pray for us and share our story.
