In April 2012, I heard God asking us to consider expanding our family by means of adoption. I was surprised, perplexed and in quite a bit of denial over this. We had been caring for orphans (through a national ministry) and those in need in our community and really seeing Gods work through all these experiences. We thought that this was enough. When God asked us to consider this we knew that this was what He was calling us to do. As followers of Christ, and committed to His leading, we decided to proceed with palms up until He directed us otherwise. We are excited to say that we have accepted the referral of a little boy about 4 1/2. We have already grown so much on this journey and know that it is only the beginning. This is all happened A LOT sooner than we anticipated though! We are coming down the home stretch now and we are so blessed that you might consider helping us on this journey!!
