Hey Folks,
Thank you for reading our story and being apart of our journey. Kahoku and I, have always wanted to adopt. My younger brothers we're not my parents biological children, but they are a very special part of my family. I knew since I was a child that I would want to some day adopt. My husband and I became foster parents in Hawaii one year ago. Our hope was to provide a safe, stable, and positive environment for children in need, with the hope of possibly being able to adopt. We've met amazing children and parents through the foster system, that are now like family. Although a great experience, this ended up not being the right avenue for someone who would like to adopt.
We've been researching the different types of adoption and we feel that adopting from an out of state foster system or adopting domestically are both good options for our family. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. We hope to raise money for our agency fees, home study, court costs, and traveling expenses.
We feel in our hearts that this is the next steps in building our family. We're excited to get the ball rolling on this process and to someday be a forever home to a child or sibling group.
Thank you,
Jungblut-Piho Family
