is adopting a child from India

Hey there friends and family,

We are on an exciting adoption adventure in 2019! Growing our family by adoption has been on our hearts for many years. After moving to Virginia in July of 2017, we knew we wanted adoption to be our next step and asked that God would reveal His perfect timing for us to start. After unexpectedly coming across India as a country to adopt from and then followed by many months of answered prayers back in that fall 2017 and winter of 2018 we knew we were called to start the process in India. We officially started working with an agency called Children of the World in April 2018. This past September we completed our home study and in October we applied to CARA (the organization in India responsible for managing international adoptions) for approval to adopt from India. Currently, we are waiting for approval from CARA and hope to receive that approval sometime in January or February. We don’t know who our child or children will be, or their special needs, or their gender or where he or she is even located but we do know God has his perfect timing and we will wait patiently. We also recognize it takes a village to bring a child home through adoption and we hope you will be apart of that village with us. Please join us in prayer and in your thoughts as we venture through this exciting yet challenging journey.

The estimated cost of adopting from India is $30,000 for one child. If you feel led to support us financially in this journey, we would be so grateful!

John 14:18 “ I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.”

In Christ,

-Kirk, Caroline, Kebar, and Zion
