Keen on Adoption (short story) Hi, we are the Keen's! We are your typical American family striving to make the American dream a reality. We live in our little house with our 2 children, a girl and a boy, and also our somewhat yappy dog. Most would think our family is complete. We may have thought so too, were it not for the tugging on our hearts for our third child. And we knew they were waiting to be adopted. We spent months researching adoption and pouring over the needs of this country and that; domestic adoption and foster care. We sought advice from my Uncle Marty and Aunt Lori Schwieterman, whom have adopted from China in the past. Their advice was that Jesus would not care where we adopted from, a child in need is a child in need. Finally, after discussing our desires with our agency, they suggested South Korea. We prayed and then knew, this was the path for us! Now, we are just weeks away from bringing home our little girl! I hope you will consider being a part of this journey with us.
