We have BIG news! We have been matched with a baby for adoption!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home and family. As part of the process, we have started this crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs typically total $40,000 or more, and our family is quickly approaching this amount spent in agency and attorney fees, background checks and clearances, medical support, and travel costs. We are very fortunate our generous employers have a reimbursement program, however we have significant upfront medical and travel costs still needed to bring our baby home. This is why we have set a goal of $10,000 to help ease the upfront financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
