We are excited to share that we have decided to start our family through adoption! We have both desired to adopt for many years and even discussed it before we got married. When we learned that Kelsey’s health requires a long-term medication that she cannot get pregnant while taking, it became clear that we would start our family through adoption.

It may surprise you to hear the cost of adopting an infant is very high due to necessary fees involved in caring for the birth mother’s prenatal health costs, housing, and legal fees, in addition to home study and agencies fees for safely connecting birth mothers to approved adoptive parents.

We invite you to join us in this process financially only if you would like to! We also hope that you will come alongside us after we adopt to take part in our child’s life. We are so thankful God has given us a wonderful community of friends and family, both near and far!

    We are so thrilled to welcome Cali Grey to our family. She is an absolute gift and we are over the moon! She loves to smile, cuddle, and sleep during the day. She brings joy to all who meet her and we couldn’t be more honored to adopt her! It is our absolute joy to have the privilege of parenting her. We are so thankful for all of the support and prayers along the way! She is truly an answer to all of our many prayers!

    Preparations

    We are getting so excited for our little one to join us! We are currently preparing our nursery, touring daycares, researching adoption resources and listening to podcasts by adoptees. We appreciate all of your love and support! We cannot do this without a village and are so thankful for all of our wonderful friends and family, near and far!
