Kelvin & Kaddy K.

are adopting 3 children from Gambia

My name is Edward Kelvin Kamara, and alongside my wife, Kaddy, we’ve committed our lives to caring for the vulnerable — orphans, children with disabilities, and those with no one else. We run a faith-driven initiative in The Gambia called Kelvin’s Ark of Hope, where we shelter and support the most at-risk children in our community.

Today, we are stepping out in faith — not just as caregivers, but as parents.

We are committed to adopting three children who desperately need a permanent, loving home. This dream was born from deep prayer and a calling we couldn’t ignore. Every day, we witness the heartbreaking reality of children without family — not just without food or shelter, but without love.

We’ve already spent over $20,000 of our personal savings toward this mission — covering housing, documentation, and basic care for children we support. But to legally adopt and raise three children, we need much more.

We are now praying and working toward raising at least three times what we’ve already spent — nearly $9,000 — to cover the full cost of adoption, including legal fees, child preparation, health support, and the stable home environment they deserve.

We may not have much in our pockets, but we have hearts overflowing with love. We are ready to open our arms to these children — to call them ours, to raise them with dignity and purpose, and to be the family they’ve never had.

This is why we need your help.

Would you partner with us in this journey? Every dollar brings us closer to giving these three children something that cannot be bought: a forever home.

Thank you for believing in our vision and standing with us.

With love and hope, Kelvin’s Ark of Hope The Gambia
