We have BIG news!
We are adopting! We have been married for 13 years and have always dreamed of one day having a family of our own. For years we struggled with infertility and thought we would never have the chance to be parents. Through prayer we felt the Lord tugging our heart towards adoption.
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home.
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $21,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
