BIG news- we're adopting!
God calls us in scripture to care for orphans (James 1:27), and while not everyone may choose to build their family this way, we believe everyone can live out that calling through supporting those who do.
For us, the seed was planted before we were even married. After 6+ years, we are finally as ready as we'll ever be and are doing everything we can to prepare to welcome a new little life into our home.
As part of our adoption process, we have started this crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to learn that adoption expenses can easily total up to $35,000 or more, but we have decided not to let that hold us back! Instead, we have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive families.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we are building to support our kiddo as he/she grows up.
