We are the King family, one big happy family, and this is our third adoption. This adoption story officially began in January of 2012 when both John and I felt the call to adopt again. After months of prayer and research into our options, we decided to work with Christian Adoption Consultants. We were home study ready in December of 2012 and began mailing applications to agencies. On April 20, 2013, we found out about a micro preemie, born fourteen weeks early on April 13 in Utah. He was in the NICU, weighing less than 2 pounds, in need of a family. The costs were high, the sacrifice great, the future unclear, but we couldn&'t get him out of our minds. Within a few days, one confirmation after the other came our way; this was to be our son. God was clearly leading us to adopt this little guy. A week later we were on a plane to meet our son, Victor, for the first time. We look forward to the day, possibly months away, when he can travel home to be with his whole loving family.
