Hello! My name is Erin and my husband Steve and I are thrilled to be adding to our family through the miracle of adoption. We have two children, Ryann (4 years old) and Matthew (2 years old). We have always wanted at least three children and after Ryann and Matthew were born we felt a strong urge to pursue adoption. We believe that every child deserves a loving, caring and attentive family. We truly feel that God has called us to adopt from Africa and when our agency opened a new program with the Democratic Republic of the Congo we jumped at the chance. We are "dueling" so if by chance we get a referral from Ethiopia first, we will be more than happy to welcome a child from there. However, we currently sit at number 6 on the waitlist and are hoping for a referral from the DRC soon. With this option of dueling comes more paperwork and money, but hopefully less of a wait. We are open to a boy or girl age four or younger. Ryann and Matthew are so excited to have a new sibling! Although this journey will be a long one, at the end of it there will be one more child with a mom and dad and one less orphan. We are not very good at asking for help, but adoption comes with a large financial sacrifice. We are stepping out of our comfort zone and asking for financial support.
