We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more.
Over the past eight years, we have been building the foundations of our relationship with the goal of starting a family one day.
Two years ago, we purchased a five-bedroom, three-bath house with a large yard on a quiet cul-de-sac in one of the best school districts in the Portland area. When we looked for our home, our primary goal was to find a place to start, raise, and offer the best to our future children.
We believe in being sustainable and eating healthy/natural. One of the main things that drew us to our home is our ability to grow and farm on the land. JP is an avid gardener, and we have 13 garden beds that we grow in year-round. We also have 20+ fruit trees/bushes and chickens. If you can name it, we probably grow it and eat it.
