We are adopting a child!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
About Us
For anyone that may not know us, we are Ben & Laura. We live in the DFW metroplex with our dog, Murphy. We have been happily married since 2012. We enjoy being outdoors, having fun with friends & family, going to the movies, and making each other laugh. We are excited about becoming new parents and adding a little one to all of our adventures!
Our Story
Adoption was always part of our plan when starting our family; however, after researching the costs involved we put this plan on hold. Little did we know that the infertility monster was making itself comfy in our home. After 2 years of medications, shots, and a surgery there was no improvement. When faced with the option of more invasive treatments with low percentage chances of success, adoption was our clear choice. We believe it was God's plan for us to adopt from the beginning.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
