We have BIG news!
We are adopting a child!
Dennis and I have been working very hard to be able to take this next step in building our family. Unfortunately, adoption is not a cheap endeavor, but it is the right path that we have chosen to start our family. Dennis and I are beyond excited at the thought of bringing a little one into our home and loving and nurturing a child. Neither of us are ones to ask for help often, but we are humbling ourselves and doing just that. Between lawyers, agency fees, and social worker fees, along with helping the expectant mother, things add up quick. The upfront cost is something that is extremely daunting as we continue to make sure we have enough saved to support the child when he/she arrives. We hope that, if you are able, you would be willing to help us out. If not right now, please keep us in your thoughts for the future. We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
