We are adopting a child!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. Adopting a child with special needs is very near and dear to our hearts as we both have personal stories of adoption, as well as we are both special education teachers. We can't wait to meet our child and bring them home and we hope you would help us to financially make this happen for our family. We are a same sex couple who have been turned away by many different agencies via discrimination based on sexual orientation as well as gender identity.
Special Angels Adoption has been incredibly supportive and welcomed us with open arms and loving hearts regardless of our same-sex relationship. We couldn't have asked for a more supportive Agency to work with to bring our baby home! The only thing standing in our way is finances!! Please help us bring our child home!
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. After all, it takes a village.
