We have BIG news!

We are adopting! Winnie is going to be a big sister!

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home.

As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. We will be selling puzzles pieces for $20 per piece. Your name or a special message (or both) will be placed on the puzzle pieces you purchase. The completed puzzle will be displayed in Baby Rogers’s nursery as a reminder of all those who made their place in our collective hearts and home possible.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.

    Doors Close… Doors Open

    April 30, 2026

    We wanted to share a quick update on our adoption journey.

    Our hearts have been on a bit of a rollercoaster lately. We recently lost our match with the baby boy due in June, as his birth mom made the decision to parent. While this was difficult news for us, we truly respect her choice and ask that you keep her in your prayers as she moves forward.

    On a brighter note, just 72 hours later, we were matched with a baby girl who is due in just a few weeks. We are overwhelmed with hope and gratitude for this unexpected turn, and we are preparing our hearts and home to welcome her.

    With this new match comes additional financial need. This adoption is now expected to cost an additional $10,000–$15,000. If you feel led to support us, we would be incredibly grateful for any donation to our Adopt Together crowdfunding page. Donations are tax deductible, and truly, every single dollar makes a difference—no gift is too small.

    We have an update….

    March 9, 2026

    WE’VE MATCHED! A birth mother selected us and our baby boy will be here in June! As you can imagine, we very excited and can’t wait to meet him! We’re so grateful to everyone for the your prayers and kind words we’ve received as we’ve been on this journey.

    We’re also super appreciative of those of you that have donated to help us bring our boy home. If you remember, this is tied to a puzzle piece fundraiser. We have finished putting a couple puzzles together and are working on adding everyone who donated $20 dollars or more to the back of a puzzle piece (or pieces). We’ll have more pics as we finish/frame them.
