Hello, we are so excited and happy to be entering the next stage of our adoption journey — making a match and bringing our baby home!
Rosanna and Michael have had a wonderful marriage and life together, filled with love, laughter, travel, and adventure. Of course, we have hard hardship and struggle as well, but we let those times strengthen us rather than tear us down. The one struggle that we have not yet overcome is our intense desire to have children, to be mom and dad to a little one, and to share all of our love with them.
We need help. It is humbling and difficult to ask for money, but when the cause is so pure and so just, it does make it easier. We want to give all of our love to a child, give them a home and a life that they deserve.
We are working with A Baby Step Adoption, an agency that has very high placement and a great success rate. Their great success rate comes at a cost, but placing a price tag on a baby just adds to the pain we have already endured by not having a child for these many years. A high cost is the harsh reality of adoption, and we have spent considerable amounts already on a multi-year home study, major renovations to the house (required as part of the home study), creating online and print profiles, and doing all the preliminary work with our agency.
