Kori Koss

is adopting a child from Uganda

There was no doubt in her mind that we were to adopt! My wife Kori told me that in November 2014 when she felt her heart burning for orphans and adoption after attending an Orphan Care Expo at church. I agreed with her, but told her it would be years down the road when our 3 young children were older. However, God had a different plan! Two weeks after the Expo, we attended a worship service at our church. Kori was silently praying and asked God that if adoption was His will for our family, could He please speak to me about it and put that desire on my heart. At that same time, as I was worshiping God, I heard the word adoption in my spirit. I asked God what about it and I heard God say start now. I asked God where and He said Uganda. Later that week, I hesitated to tell Kori what I heard in church. But God gave me another sign when an advertisement came on YouTube about an orphanage in Uganda. I then began to disclose to Kori the details of what God revealed to me that night at church. After I told her what I heard, she responded with how she had been praying for God to speak to me that same night at church. Amazed at what God had spoken, we excitedly decided to obey God's call, step out in faith, and pursue adopting an orphan in Uganda. We are all in for this adventure God has called us on and hope to soon meet the child that will no longer be called an orphan, but will join our family and be loved as our own child! Your donations will be a huge help. Thank you and God bless! Love, the Koss family
