We are adopting a child!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful teenager into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. Your donation will help us to reach our goal to adopt!
As you may know, we have 3 beautiful children, Noah, Joshua and Sarah. Our "baby girl" Sarah just graduated from high school this year and we were well on our way to being empty nesters. How exciting, right!?. Well, God has a different plan for us. He has called us to adopt a sweet 13 (almost 14) year old girl from Bulgaria. We are up for this journey that God has before us, however we need the financial help and support to make this happen and make our future daughter's (Milena's) dreams of having a family of her own a dream come true. I cannot imagine what it must feel like to not be wanted or not have a family. Milena was left at an orphanage home in Bulgaria. She only has a few years before she will "age out" of the system and be on her own. We want to provide hope, love, support, and share the love of Christ with her. We want her to have a future to look forward to, family get togethers, a great education, job opportunities, and so much love!
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. We also ask that you please lift Milena and the Kowieski Family up in prayers throughout this process.
