is adopting a child from United States of America

When we first started talking about marriage, we talked about adoption. In the ensuing years, Nikisha has been diagnosed with PCOS, meaning a risky pregnancy if we were to try. With or without such a diagnosis, however, our hearts have been set on adoption from the beginning. We have wanted to adopt from the start. We do not see a need to bring new children into the world simply because they will look like us or share our DNA. We want to provide a family for children already on their way into this world - children who might not have a safe or supportive home otherwise. We believe that, as we look to create our family, we can do the most good by adopting We believe the choice to adopt is the choice to make a child's life fulfilling and not a means to build a family that looks alike. We are looking forward to have a family filled with unique individuals, inside and out. We aren't walking into the adoption process with expectations of who our children will grow up to be. It is of little consequence to us if they look like, act like, dress like, or believe the same things as we do. What is the most important to us is that they practice kindness toward others while pursuing the things that make them happy and fulfilled. We are looking forward to all of the challenges, headaches, lack of sleep, and disorder that a child can throw our way with the end result always in mind that the child will be safe, supported in their journey to become themselves, and loved. We hope you will join us in that journey by helping us at its earliest stages. Thank you for taking the time to consider assisting us in preparing for this step.
