We are so excited to announce that we are ADOPTING!
You may already know that we have struggled with infertility and during these last 5 years we have experienced much joy, but also experienced loss and grief. As we were about to start fertility treatments, we felt God re-directing our paths and felt strongly led stop treatments for this time, and to pursue adoption right now! Although there is a lot of fear in uncertainty, we are ready to embrace the unknown and go in the direction where we clearly see God calling us. We love how adoption is a picture of the gospel, and, through it, we are hopeful to see our family grow.
As you may know adoption can be very expensive. We are pursuing domestic infant adoption and in our case we are expecting to see costs around 40,000 not including our home study or consulting fees. Some of these expenses include agency and lawyer fees, travel expenses, medical care and counseling for expectant mother, and much more. If you are interested in partnering with us by giving financially we would be deeply grateful! If you would like to simply follow along with our adoption journey, offering supportive prayers and encouragement that means just as much to us.
We are in the beginning stages of adoption, completing paperwork. Through God's provision and the help of family and friends, we have been able to pay about 10,000 towards expenses but will need some help for future costs, and that's why we put our fundraising goal at 40,000.
