Because of His great love for us, before the World even began… We were Chosen by God to be adopted as His children. We love because He first loved us. A pure act of Faith is to care for His children just as He cared for us. Adoption is partnering with Jesus to see lives transformed. Adoption is a Miracle.
When Cooper was only one, I had to have a hysterectomy, due to endometriosis. This was not our decision. After many many prayers, it was evident that this was God’s plan. At the young age of 25, with only one child, you can imagine our fears and concerns. But like I said, we knew this was God’s plan. Fast-forward 2 years, and once again after many many prayers, we know that ADOPTION is God’s plan for us to continue to grow our family His Way.
We were not truly ready to tell the world, but this is God’s story, not ours. We want Him to use us to inspire and be an example to others, that where God guides, He provides. God has already provided in so many ways and opened so many doors for us. So here is where we are: We are still in the early stages. We have been approved through an agency, and have completed our home study. We will be profiled in March after taking an annual training course through our agency. And then the real waiting game begins. We will have to pay $3000 in March when we go for training. The remaining $17,000 will be due once we get placed.
If you can find it in your heart and pocket book, anything/everything will help us get closer to our dreams of adding a baby girl to our family. We will also be applying for grants and are saving all extra money we can!
Please pray for us, for our families, for our sweet baby girl, that does not even exist yet, and her birth parents as well. We are so excited to be on this journey, and thank God for this opportunity.
