We are adopting a child!
A little update on our journey…Adoption is expensive!! Like crazy expensive! And unfortunately this can be the hurdle that keeps some families from adopting. In a perfect world we wouldn’t have to do any fundraising. Asking others for money is very humbling but we are finding it very necessary. We find that it is even more difficult in these current times with everything happening in the world with Corona Virus. So, as we have been praying over the idea of fundraisers and our adoption process we have come across a fundraiser that we feel speaks to us. We are so excited about our Puzzle Fundraiser! As you purchase a puzzle piece your name will be written on it. This opens up a way for each of you to be a “piece” in our story! We would be honored and humbled if you should decide to be a “piece” of our family.
Here’s how it works:
1- We have a family picture that is a 500 piece puzzle!
2- We are selling each piece for $20. You can choose how many you would like to purchase, (1, 2, 10…the options are endless).
3- We have set up three ways you can purchase your piece(s) of our puzzle.
They are:
1- right here (tax deductible) by clicking the “give to this adoption” button
2- Venmo; @Crystal-Landis-2 or
3- you can contact us for our home address and send a check in the mail.
4- Once you purchase your puzzle piece(s) we will write your name on the back of it.
5- Once every piece of the puzzle is purchased we will put the puzzle together. It will be displayed in a double sided glass frame that will hang in our child’s room. They will be able to see who had a “piece” in bringing them home.
Our goal with this puzzle fundraiser is $10,000.00. This will be a big step in helping us get to the required $35,000 up to $50,000 needed for an average adoption. We know that especially in these times you may feel you can’t contribute financially to our journey. We understand and would ask if you could please share our link on your social media outlets to help us get our story out there as much as possible?
