We have BIG news!

We are adopting a child! This past Christmas we made the decision after receiving a photo listing of waiting children. We’ve received this before and always hit delete but this year we decided to just say, Yes! Our little boy is currently in the country of Liberia, a country devastated just a few years ago by the Ebola outbreak.

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily exceed $35,000. This is why we have set a personal goal of $11,000 to help ease the financial burden. Please share this, we have just a few months to reach our goal.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he grows up. We’d love to share more details but due to the sensitive nature, we must wait until our adoption is finalized.
