We have BIG news!
We are adopting a child!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more and, as of October 2020, we have already spent $13,750. This is why we have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease this financial burden.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. We greatly appreciate all your love and support.
We want more than anything to be parents! We have been waiting our whole lives to make our dream become a reality. Sadly, it has been a rather rough road, emotionally and financially. As you may or may not know, we lost five babies to miscarriage in the last year. It has been completely devastating and heartbreaking but working with our adoption agency, Bethany Christian Services, has helped. We have completed an in-depth home study that included background checks, interviews, and training courses. Now that this is complete, we will be able to have our family profile book shown to potential birth moms.
