We are looking to complete our family!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $45,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $7500 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. When we adopted our two youngest girls out of foster care the State absorbed the majority of the expense. We are praying that there is a little girl out there to complete our family. We believe there is a missing heart in our family and we pray she will provide a racial mirror for our daughter. Any gift you feel led to make will go a long way in helping us bring her home and we covet the prayers of all our friends and family as we walk through this process. We are a large family, we are aware that some may feel like we should not try if we cannot afford to complete this journey on our own but we believe we are called to adopt and as such we are following that calling.
