Mandy and Bryson have been happily married for 13 years. They always talked about adoption as Plan A for their family. When Bryson was growing up, he had 18 foster siblings and Mandy spent time volunteering at an orphanage as teen. This impacted both of them in significant ways. Later in their marriage, they found out they have a 0% chance of having a biological child. They both feel like this was God further directing them to grow their family through adoption. In 2014, they adopted a little girl from China. She is all things feisty, brave, sassy, smart, and precious. She was born with a limb difference and quickly taught her parents that ten fingers are overrated. They are currently in process to adopt a little boy from Southern China who also has congenital limb differences, affecting both limbs. They plan to name him Barrett for his Western name and keep his Chinese name. They plan to travel in December 2015 to January 2016. Bryson recently made a documentary about their first adoption https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-dNBk2mZZQ
