We are adopting!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. On our very first date, almost 6 years ago, we expressed how we both felt that God had laid adoption on our hearts. Over the past three years, we have continued to patiently wait, pray, and get excited for this moment! We will be adopting internationally and would covet your prayers as we embark on this journey!
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. As part of our adoption process, we will be doing various fundraisers to help us reach the goal of bring home the child God has for us. How can you help us on this new adventure….
Pray for us! Pray that God would prepare our hearts and home for this child who we haven't even met yet.
Pray for the child God has for us! They will be coming from a place of brokenness and as a result will need all the love and support we can give them.
Pray for Charleston as she goes through this process of becoming a sister! Pray that she will have a sweet and loving relationship with our new addition. Pray for patience for her as she goes from being an only child to a sibling. And lastly…
Pray that God would provide all the finances needed for each payment along the way and that God would allow our trust and faith in Him to grow immensely!
There are so many children who need a home and a family to call their own, and who need the security and love that a family can provide. Thank you for your prayers and support as we walk in obedience to the call that God has placed on our lives!
