Isaiah is a shy, but smart and sweet little boy who came to live with us a little over four years ago when CPS placed him with us as a Family Placement Arrangement. He's always been family, but we want him to have a forever home with us where he can grow and receive all the love we can offer. He's quickly become like a brother to our biological children. Our daughter loves to mother him, and he has become our son's "partner in crime." And why not? They're only 9 days apart in age! Isaiah has many emotional issues that we are struggling to deal with on a day-to-day basis, but with God's help, there has been so much progress, and we know so much more can be accomplished. Right now, we struggle with the burden of needing to be more than Power of Attorney over him. We can overcome that obstacle by adopting him which is becoming quite costly. Because of the situation of how he came to us, we are going a different route and are having to hire a private attorney. Thank you for considering donating and sharing our burden.
