We have BIG news!
We are adopting from India!
This is something Joe and I have felt called to do for over 10 years and we have been praying and waiting for God's direction. We are confident that this is His perfect plan and we are beyond excited. We are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome our new son or daughter into our family. India has the largest number of orphans in the entire world and we feel so grateful that we get to help make that number 1 less. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. We trust the Lord to provide the funds needed to bring our baby home because we are confident that we are standing in the center of His will. Throughout this process so far, three words keep coming to my mind and my heart: Thankful, Grateful, and Blessed. Three is also a significant number as this will be our 3rd child. THANKFUL for what we already have; GRATEFUL for what is to come; and BLESSED beyond all measure.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. We cannot wait to see how God works through this journey and we pray all glory goes to Him!
