We are adopting a child!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home.
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $10,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
When we adopted our son, we offered the opportunity to "purchase" a butterfly that would commemorate your contribution to bringing him home. We would like to do the same for Baby Loyer #2. For each $20 contribution made to our adoption fund, we will write your name on an anchor for the baby. We know that Hebrews 6:19 says "We have this hope as an anchor to the soul, firm and secure" which reminds us to stay hopeful as we wait to meet our next miracle.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
