We have BIG news!
We are adopting a child!
We met in 2012 when we were 17 years old in high school. We started dating when we were young. As time went on, we had envisioned a great life for ourselves including having a family. We had always thought of the family traditions we would instill, all of the movie nights and game nights we would have, and all of the joy a child would bring to us, our family, and friends.
We got married in 2019 and we started trying for a family. With no such luck, we both went to our doctors in early 2021 only to find out neither of us can have children. Allison was told she is infertile due to Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. Scott was told he can’t have children due to sterility. When we got this news, we were devastated but knew immediately what we wanted to do.
We applied to our adoption agency and when we were told our application was accepted things started looking up. We always remind ourselves that this is the path God wants us to follow, God has a plan, and everything happens for a reason.
We are ecstatic to someday meet our little bundle of joy and complete our family.
