We have BIG news!
We are adopting a child (again)! Most of you know we adopted two teenage boys through foster care in early 2021, and now we are in the midst of trying to adopt a younger boy from Eastern Europe that we met through an orphan hosting program over the summer. There's always room for more, right?!
Our home study has been approved by our international adoption agency CCAI, and we are preparing our paperwork to file with US immigration.
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that international adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $15,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
