Hello everyone! For those of you who do not know me, My name is Baleigh. I have some EXCITING news to share with everyone. I am ADOPTING!

I am beyond excited and am doing everything i can to be prepared mentally and financially to welcome a new life into my loving home.

But as most of you probably don’t know… Adoption in Texas can be financially overwhelming.. even being hand chosen by someone, i still have a lot of hoops to jump through. Hoops that will always be worth it. I also have to be certified to parent in the state of Texas before i can even start the legal process. i have gotten a lot out the way and have made a lot of leeway in everything that me and baby boy need for our Home inspections and/or lawyer fees. I have started taking HOPE parenting classes through Buckner and have everything he needs comfort wise.

So as part of the adoption process, we have created a crowdfunding family campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. AND that’s not even including everything we have been buying for our sweet baby to ensure they have the home they deserve. We truly have most of our expenses and don’t have too much left to save up. That’s why we have set a goal to raise $6,000 to help ensure the financial burden as we enter our last few steps into this process.

We hope by telling our story and inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to raise our children in.

Being apart of our miracle doesn’t have to be strictly money. We also will be grateful for any hand me downs of any gender. (Could be clothes or furniture or anything you think a newborn baby boy would need) as well as prayers for our growing family.
