Getting the house ready, taking classes, praying, and….well, fundraising!
We are taking a step of faith since we don't exactly where the finances will come from (although we have certainly been saving). Adoption costs are a deterrent to adoption everywhere and we are no exception. We are anticipating $55,000+ in adoption related costs._ Funds that we don't have in hand at the moment. To help us offset some of these costs we have created this fundraising page with Adopt Together.
Why Adopt Together? 1) It means you get a tax-benefit! That's right, they are a certified charity so you can take it off the bill with Uncle Sam, and help a local family. 2) Your peace of mind. We don't take our "ask" lightly - we want you to know your support will directly benefit our adoption, and Adopt Together will do that for you! All expenses for our adoption must be submitted and approved, then the money goes directly to an agency, to legal fees, or in some cases to reimburse expenses.
