Joe and I decided that we wanted to grow our family via adoption in January 2019. We have recently switched up our approach and are using Christian Adoption Consultants so we can take a multi-agency approach in finding a newborn. This is a very exciting, yet overwhelming chapter in our lives.
The cost of adopting a newborn in the United States can range from $20,000-$50,000, depending on your agency. We have made some major adjustments to our finances and we did not want to exclude crowdsourcing, since it is mentioned along with other great options that we will be applying for, such as grants.
This is a season in our lives that I honestly never thought we would be in, but God has another plan for us, therefore, we must obey. We know that we have been blessed so many ways in our life and we cannot wait to share them with a little one.
