Hello, We are the Maya's. Currently we are raising 7 loves and have one in Heaven waiting on us. We believe raising a large family is a calling on our life, we don't take parenting lightly. It is such a privilege and blessing to raise our children, doing the best we can to lead them on the path God has for them. For many years after our first adoption we have spoken these words to others: "If God calls you to it He will see you through it. Even when there seems to be no way, He will make a way". Now our family is putting those words into action once again. As we truly believe in our hearts that we have been called to raise #8. Although this seems hard, hard is not impossible. We are humbling ourselves to ask if you would consider being apart of bringing home Maya #8. It is very hard asking for money. Seeing all the other reasons for crowdfunding makes it even harder. But adoption is important too! The life and well being of a child is important. Everyone deserves a family. We are thankful to have the means to provide for a child's daily needs. We have room in our home, in our van and most importantly in our hearts. However there is a substantial amount of money needed upfront to bring a child home (FYI we have too many children to foster). Chris is working hard at two jobs so we can put as much of our resources as possible toward our adoption. But, this is not something we can easily do on our own. Would you please pray about giving? If God places the desire on your heart to bless our growing family, we would be deeply thankful. No amount is too small, any can make a difference.
