The reason that Adam and I want to adopt is my health, I could not get pregnant. In September of 2011 I had to have a full hysterectomy. Afterwards a biopsy was done and cancer was found. I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer Stage One C. Cancer was found in both of my fallopian tubes and both ovaries. Since then I have fully recovered and there has been no re-occurrence of any problems. I am in great health and looking to start a family with my husband of twenty years, this is why we have chosen to grow our family through adoption. We have already invested $7,000 of our money (our life savings) into the adoption. We are now raising to help us finish. Right now we need 15,000 to finish the entire process.
